Tuesday went well. She was much more alert and more cooperative. She has a bit of a fear of anyone in a medical uniform though. We were cleared to get her out of bed and try to walk. Her legs are so weak and she is scared but we keep trying.
Dr. Salazar came in today and is happy with all her vitals. He is not concerned about the saturation levels and feels confident that they will get better. I had to tell one young Resident that as she was overly concerned about the readings but did not bother to read the chart. That is reassuring isn't it. The other good news from the doctor is that he felt like in a few days we may be heading home. I did not press him for a day but few days sounds good to me.
Thank you for the continued prayers. Pray specifically that Maria has a desire to get out of bed and play and that she is cooperative with us and the medical staff.
