Maybe a little progress

Well Maria had a good day. Daddy spent the night with her. We had dropping SATS all night long but she rested well. Forrest met with the doctors this morning and reviewed all of her medications and discussed treatment options. We pray that this first heart med works because if it does not work by tomorrow then we have to switch to another med and wait 2 to 3 days to see if it works. Please pray it works.

This morning the other girls and mommy came for a visit. We walked Maria, rode around in a wagon and for the first time she wanted to lay in the wagon and watch TV. It was great getting her out of that bed.

At noon big brother Aaron came to take over. He is very good at getting her to do things. They walked a good bit, rode in the wagon, he actually got her to color and smile. Mommy and the girls took daddy out for an early fathers day lunch and we worked in the garden a bit. This evening Robin is back with her and has commented that SATS are up and heart rate is down. We are praying that this new med is kicking in and getting control of her heart. They told us it takes 3 to 4 doses before this takes effect and we are on dose 3. They will draw blood in the morning to see if it is working.

This evening Dad was able to take Shiyan and Laura to the pool, it was very relaxing and a lot fo fun.

Andrew will spend the night with her tonight, she loves spending time with him and it is good for all of us to switch things up a bit. The rest of us hope to be at church in the morning and then back to the rotation at the hospital.

We will post more as we know it. Please pray that this medication works and we can get her home. We are praying for SATS to stay up tonight. We are thankful for improved attitude and for the help of our boys in keeping up with everything.
