Funny pictures

Tonight our middle son was the Chick Fil A cow at the mall. He is a manager at Chick Fil A and loves doing the cow and clowning around with the kids. The girls had to go see him in action so we had dinner there and took in pictures with the Cow.

The other picture is of Laura recently when they had crazy hat night at church.

Maria's Thanksgiving

Here are a couple of photos of Maria and her friends at the Healing Home on Thanksgiving. We are so thankful for all the workers at ND that are taking such good care of Maria and the other children. We are so anxious to visit there when we go to China. Hopefully getting close now.

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving from the Colliers. We hope you and yours had a great day and enjoyed time with friends and family. We stayed home with just us and the kids. Had a big home cooked meal and then went to a local fountain to take pictures for our Christmas Card.

Do you have any idea how hard it is to get 5 kids to cooperate on doing photos? Two of the boys just did not want to be there. One boy is a ham and the girls like to pose.

We are hopeing and praying that we get news of our Travel Approval in the next few days. We are so ready to get to China. We hope to be there with Maria for Christmas.

Christmas decorations

Here are a couple of pictures of our house with all the Christmas Decorations. It will be nice not to mess with this Thanksgiving weekend and it is nice to be enjoying the beautiful lights.

Forward Movement

Well we finally got our Article 5 today. At least 1 government is out of the way. They tell us that the wait for Travel Approval (TA) will be 2 to 3 weeks. Down side is ticket prices get very expensive after December 9th. We are praying for affordable tickets or we may have to delay until after Christmas to go to China. We are so ready to get Maria home.

Pray for a little boy that is there with Maria. He is very sick and is in heart failure. So sad, we know that he is in God's hands.

Frustrating week

Well it has been a long and frustrating week. We still do not have our Article 5 approval from the US in China. Until we have this nothing can move forward. We are down to a point where if we do not get it soon we may not get to travel this year. Best case is now looking like Christmas in China.

Please pray that we get approval VERY SOON. We are really praying that we have Maria before Christmas even if it means being in China for Christmas.

Happy Birthday Laura

Today is Laura's birthday. She is 6 so we now have girls that are 6, 5 & 4. We had a family party last night and had a lot of fun. Here are a few photos.

We also learned that Maria and another child were recently pictured in the Beijing Evening News. She is quite the little celebrity over there. We are so anxious to get her home.
