Improving

Well we have been home 4 full days now and we are seeing improvement. We are still a long way from where were pre-surgery but on the right track. Most of the time Maria is doing very well. She is talking more and more playful. She is walking and getting around good. However at times she just gets in a weird funk and will not communicate. It is very difficult to help someone when they will not tell you what is wrong.

We are so thankful that she is physically doing well. We are also thankful to see her personality coming back. She will go back for a checkup on Monday. It will be interesting to see how she reacts to returning to the hospital. Thanks for all of your prayers for Maria and for us. We really appreciate it.

Now lets enjoy a weekend at home and getting to visit with some great friends that will be in town.
