Our family has grown a bit this year as seen by the stockings on our fireplace. 13 were there last year and 17 are there this year.
In April Andrew and Kim added a daughter to their family, Nora became our first granddaughter.
In September, Stephen proposed to Anna and she will officially join the family in March.
Also in September, Aaron and Karen gave birth to Hattie Rae our second granddaughter, and third grandchild.
We have been blessed beyond measure and are so thankful. God has challenged our faith in several instances this year. When we are being stretched it is not comfortable but often unless we are stretched we miss out on blessings.
As we rush into the Christmas season, slow down and take time to be thankful for the gifts God has given you and remember those in need. Take time for family and friends.
