We have the following on our kitchen wall.
It reminds us that we need to trust (have faith)
We also have the words to the song Oceans on our kitchen wall. The words of the song reflect this same statement "Spirit lead me where my trust is without boarders" We need to think carefully about the words of this song. Are we really willing for God to take us where the water is over our head and where we know the only way we can swim is if he helps us, if he holds us up.
Most of us don't like living in this space it is way out of our comfort zones. I have found that I grow the most when I am outside my comfort zone. God has been pressing us to get out of our comfort zone so we are looking closely at the words of this and contemplating what this means for us.
As a good friend recently said to me, "You are at the edge of the cliff you just have to decide if you will jump" Wow that is scary but it takes Faith to jump, it takes Faith to jump in the deep water.
When Oceans rise my soul will rest in your embrace. Where feet may fail and fear surrounds me. You've never failed and You wont start now!
Where is your faith being stretched and challenged? Are you willing to step off the edge?
