Maria Update

Well we had to take Maria in to the doctor today. Her chest had a bad looking spot on it that was not healing correctly. The good news is that they ran an echo and her heart looks great. The spot is caused from something irritating the tissue (probably a suture or something) the doc opened it up a bit and cleaned it out and said it should heal in about 2 weeks. We need to keep it clean and watch for infection.

This Tuesday she went in to see the plastic surgeon and he is very happy with the place on her arm and feels like it should heal. He wants to see her again in 2 months.

So the plan now is to schedule the dental work in a couple of months and then before the end of the year try to do a cath to close off the fenestration. We are making progress every day.

We praise God for how wonderfully she is doing.
