Wow this has been some start of a year. We thought 2019 was a tough year and 2020 has already left 2019 in the dust from a point of challenges and getting out of your comfort space.
We thought we were just getting into a grove with Hannah after she had started school in late November. School is working great for her and she is learning slowly. We made it through the holidays and then January hit.
In the first week of January we had a cancer diagnosis that set us into some interesting time that led to surgery for Robin and now we are about 5 weeks beyond the surgery and preparing now for radiation treatments.
With all this virus scare we are having to be extra careful to keep Robin healthy and make sure she can get her treatments. So more adjustments and more precautions.
We can not say enough about how thankful we are for neighbors and for our Life Group from church for the calls, cards, meals and more meals that have been provided. So many people have been here to help us during this time.
We are trusting God for complete healing and for this to be behind us soon. Robin is doing well and the doctors are very happy with everything so far. We are anxious to complete treatments and get on with life.
We can not imagine how people go through things like this without God and a church to lean on. Our faith has been critical. Our church has been like family helping take care of us. I will say that there have been days when you say "God why are we going through this?" "God why her" and so on but in the end He has been with us every step of the way and has provided peace for us.
We will update here from time to time. Please keep us in your prayers as we walk down this road.
