New pictures

Today we received 3 new photos of Hannah Joy and 2 videos.

First we cant believe how much she has changed.  her face is fuller.  It is hard to tell how much she has grown due to the layers and layers of clothing on her.   It looks like her long hair has been put up in a little bun.  We are so thankful to see that smile.

These photos confirm for us that she received her Christmas package and that she now knows about us.   One of the items we sent was a photo album introducing our family and we sent a letter asking the care givers to tell her we are coming for her.   She has pictures of all of her siblings, photos of our home and of her room.

This may not sound like a big deal to a lot of people but it is huge for us.   One of my prayers each adoption is that someone there would be telling our children that we are coming for them.  We also pray that there are believers there that are telling her about Jesus.

We anxiously await the next steps so we can get her home to be a part of our family.

 Here she is with her items from the Christmas package.  The candy was for sharing with her friends.

 You may notice in her hands is a photo album with a photo of us.  This will help so much so she will recognize us when we get there.  Hopefully her caregivers are telling her that we are mamma and Baba (daddy)
