A trip down memory lane

It is hard to believe that two weeks from today Stephen will be married Anna.    Today was a day full of working around the house getting things ready for family to visit for the wedding.  We worked outside most of the day which was great and we accomplished a lot.

One task we did today was to help Stephen and Anna go through old photos to get some growing up photos to use at the wedding.  It was fun to look back at the 3 boys growing up and to watch our family grow over the years. 

A couple of my favorite photos were from 2007 when we traveled to adopt Shiyan.  The three boys and Laura all went with us. It was one of my favorite trips.   Here are a couple of photos from that trip.

It was one of my favorite trips that we took as a family.  The boys were all there to watch us grow.  They got to experience a got ya day and to see where their adopted siblings are from.   They experienced China, the culture, the people, the food.  It was a great trip

Well in two weeks the family grows as we add Anna to the family.   Then in a few months we will add Hannah.    I so wish that the three girls and the boys could go with us on this trip but it will probably only be the boys.  It is just too expensive to take everyone.  but wouldn't it be great to have the all the younger kids there with us as Hannah becomes part of the family.     Maybe some day we can all go back and visit the country together.

Pray that the wedding goes well.  Pray that our LOA comes quickly for Hannah and that we get TA soon after that.  We really want to get her home with us as soon as we can.
