We made a trip to the Northwest in January to see family and managed to do snowmobiling and tubing which was really fun. We had fun at the beach, adoption reunion and several other trips during the year.
The girls have grown and matured in so many ways. Shaun is doing great and learning every day. Joshua's speech has improved so much. Today we were riding in the car and he said "Dad I saw 2 bucket trucks" He amazes us on a regular basis with his progress.
In November we managed to have all of the family in one place (except one daughter in law who had to work). This is the first time all of the kids have been in the same place since Joshua joined our family. It was great having everyone here to visit.
As we wrap up 2016 and prepare for 2017 we thank God for the many blessings of the last year and look forward to what He has in store for us in the coming year.
Here are a few pics of this year.
Playing in the snow in Idaho. So much fun.
Visiting with our grandson.
The little ones hanging out.
Hanging at the beach.
Visiting a fire station and trying on turnout gear. They also went for a ride in a fire truck with an old friend of mine.
The whole gang was here minus 1.
A visit to Stone Mountain with Aaron and Karen.
As you can see it was a busy year and the kids were able to experience a lot of neat places including St Louis and a few others. We are richly blessed and had a wonderful year.
I hope someone is still checking this old blog.
