Another new life

Wow I did not realize how long it had been since I had posted on here.   This has been the most busy year I can recall in a number of ways.  The first quarter was busy then on May 1 we headed to China.  Getting everything under control with Joshua has been busy.  Then from the end of August until now it has seemed like one trip after another.

A trip to let Joshua meet both our families, business trips, a week at Disney which was great and will get a post all it's own soon, more work and personal travel, just down right busy.  Add to that soccer season and a few other things, not making excuses but just no free time.

All the while we have been preparing for the arrival of our first grandson and on Friday of last week that occurred.  We are over the top with joy and excitement.  We are thankful that he is healthy and are anxious to meet him soon.

So I thought it was time for a quick blog post to introduce the new little one.  He is so cute even if I do say so my self.

Then last night some very dear friends hosted a little cyber shower for Grayson.  Here are a few pictures from that little gathering.  We are so thankful for good friends that share life with us.

 It was a great time sharing with friends and we were able to Skype with the new parents and baby.   It was great to see him smile and cry and to watch our son as a father.    Our friend made the sign below and it is so true.  I know this little buy will be loved much and will take up a lot of room in all of our hearts.

Such a true statement.   

We will do better and try to update a bit more in the coming weeks and I will get you a catch up post from Disney which was a GREAT trip.
