This has been a great weekend. Maria has been able to meet a lot of family, grand parents, uncles, aunts, cousins etc. We have really enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Today was fun with fishing. Several family members went fishing. Shiyan hooked a huge catfish. Maria and Laura caught several fish each and had a great time. The big brothers even caught some fish and had fun. It was so much fun to see kids of all ages having fun fishing.
We are so thankful for family and friends. For those that fought and died for our freedoms. For bountiful gifts from God. We are thankful for each of our children and their uniqueness.
We will post pictures in the next day or two. Remember this is a big week for Maria. Wednesday is her 5th birthday and then the following Wednesday she will have surgery on her lung. We will post rugular updates over the next week or two so you can see how she is doing.

We will remember sweet Maria the next couple of weeks! Can you give me more details about her surgery...length of time in hospital and exactly what they will be doing?
