It has been a busy week in a lot of ways. On Monday we received our travel approval. We had limited choices on travel either leave next Monday or wait until after Christmas. Flights are very full and tickets very expensive. We opted to wait and leave on December 29th, tickets much cheaper and easier to book.
We should receive Maria on January 4th. We will first tour in Beijing and we get to see the place Maria has been living and meet her care givers. We then go to Zhangzhou to receive Maria. Next stop after that Guanzhou for the US portion and last stop Hong Kong to fly home on January 15th.
Above are some pictures of Maria at a reunion of kids from the healing home and a bit of a going away for the director who is moving on to start a new facility in Southern China. So great to see her having fun with her friends. In a way we are thankful that she will get to spend Christmas with her friends in China. We will get to have many more Christmas mornings with her.
We will update you as we get firm travel plans in the next day or two.
