Today is the 5th anniversary of meeting beautiful little Laura in China. Hard to believe that it has been 5 years. She has grown and changed so much. We will do our traditional gotya day dinner after she gets finished at Chinese Cultural School today. Laura wanted Japanese food as she loves Meso soup and sushi so that is what we are having. We are so blessed to be her parents.
On another front hard to believe that in about 2 weeks we will be headed to China. We do leave on Tuesday December 29th. I will post our full schedule in the next few days.
Thanks for all of your prayers as we have gone through this process. We are thankful that we are almost there.
We wish everyone a blessed Christmas season.

Oh how exciting, guys!
ReplyDeleteI have tears just thinking that in a couple of weeks, you will have Maria! WOW! My tears are full of joy and all kinds of emotions as I think about little Kevin, too. Godspeed our TA!
We will send that photo album PRONTO...
Wow!!! 5 years!!! It's hard to believe that it's been that long since our family was in the first steps of our own adoption process and watching your family's blog in the early days of Laura's homecoming.
ReplyDeleteWe're so excited that Maria will be home soon and will be praying for your family while in China. Post pics as you can.
God bless,
The Smiths
