And Another Year has Passed

Wow hard to believe that 2014 is behind us.    This time last year we had no idea we would be adopting again.   We were still in the thick of the battle with Shaun.   Then by April he mellowed out and we finally got into a flow.

Then in late June, we start talking about adopting again and by mid July we are in the process again.    August was our 30th anniversary, September a wedding, December Shaun back to old habits again, breaking things, doing things that he knows will get him in trouble.   So we hold firm and try to teach him that bad choices have consequences. 

Now 2014 is done and 2015 promises to be an exciting and eventful year.    As we start we anxiously wait for our approval from China to get Joshua.   We hope that by mid to late February we have our approval then we wait for TA and Consulate Appointment then buy tickets and head to China.    So in this lull of the beginning of January we rest and wait, knowing that at some point in the next few months it will get very busy and make the journey.

As we enter this new year we are so thankful for the blessings of the past year and look forward to opportunities that God has for us in the future.
