We were blessed to be able to travel over the long weekend to let Shaun meet his only living grandparent. Mammaw loved meeting him and they hit it off within a few minutes. Shaun took right to her giving hugs etc. He was wonderful during our visit, not getting into things much at all, behaving and not throwing tantrums. This was so nice for us.
We saw him focus on something for the first time, we went to a parade and he loved it, he stood for an hour holding onto a fence and looking at the floats etc. Then he was so tired that he turned around to hug Mammaw and pointed to the stroller. I placed him in the stroller and he promptly fell asleep.
The girls were able to get in some fishing and had a blast. Maria caught the most, and hooked a huge catfish but it got away. Shiyan caught a very nice catfish and Laura caught a nice bass. We really enjoyed the time with family.

Every day gets a little better. Routines are formed, trust is built and progress is made.
Was so good to meet you all in China. Amy also is progressing day by day. She too is calming down and able to focus more and more. Hoping the hardest days are now behind us. our blog is Henhappenings.blogspot.com
