Wow 5 years ago today we were trying to get to Shenyang China with Andrew, Aaron, Stephen and Laura to finally meet Shiyan. We had been delayed most of the day in Beijing due to weather and had issues with a lost ticket (great story). At about 4 that afternoon we finally landed in Shenyang. One guide took our luggage and another rushed us to a van to drive into town to get Shiyan before the Cival Affairs office closed.
She recognized Momma and Laura as soon as we walked in. See photo below as we were meeting her.

Today we celebrate her adoption day. Happy Gotya Day Shiyan.
