To celebrate the 4th of July weekend we took a quick weekend trip to the beach. The girls had a great time. Laura learned how to ride the boogie board, Shiyan loved riding on the raft and believe it or not Maria loved floating around on the raft with daddy. Great progress was made with learning to swim for Laura and Shiyan. Maria decided to spend most of her pool time holding on to the railing.
Maria loved the aquarium and posing as a diver. The funny picture above is Shiyan and Laura trying to share a bed. Shiyan moves all over the bed. Laura normally does not move but to hold her ground had to move around a bit to keep Shiyan on the other side. It was funny to watch them trying to sleep while running into each other. They did not have a clue until we showed them the picture.
The weather was great and we all had a wonderful time. We got to visit a park and see some alligators and saw some swimming by while we were eating dinner one evening.
Now this week we get ready for Maria's heart procedure on Thursday. Please say a prayer for her this week. We will post updates later this week after it is done.
