Well Maria had her heart cath today. It was a long day, the first case started late and went long. We arrived at 9 am and they did not take her back until 2 pm. By 2:55 we were leaving her in the cath lab for them to actually start.
Praise God the procedure went very well. They were done by 4:30 and the Dr. came out to talk with us. Her case is more complicated than we expected but it is treatable. They found a problem that likely resulted from her first surgery but it can also be handled but does complicate things. Her heart is strong and she will be ready for open heart surgery in a little over a month. We are shooting for June.
Thanks for all of the prayers. We praise God for taking care of Maria today and every day of her life. She is a walking miracle and only by the grace of God is she alive. We will post pictures and further updates in the next days.

Okay guys and gals. Just want you to know that I'm praying for Miss Maria and your entire family. I can only imagine how the grace of God would have to keep you steady during the "wait times"...while waiting for the procedure, waiting for surgery, etc. We're here for ya!
