Wow what a week

It has been a busy, frustrating, scary week in many ways. Many of the issues have settled down. We thank God for the peace he has given us this week and for many answered prayers.

We are praying that we hear back on our Travel Approval soon. China is back from a week of holiday so hopefully things will get moving again. We are still hoping to travel in mid November but with this lost week in China we may be toward the end of the month. Still pretty good chance to be home before Christmas.

Frustrating that we can't make any firm plans at this point. Driving Forrest nuts in planning business travel, meetings etc. Need to book a trip but too uncertain on travel. Driving Robin nuts not knowing when she will get her daughter. The girls ask daily when we will go to China.

Next Friday is Shiyan's birthday so we know we get to celebrate that here. Laura's birthday on November 7th so should be home for that. Thanksgiving very likely we will be eating fried rice instead of turkey.
